Abdullah Hakim Quick graduated with honors in Dawah and Islamic sciences at the Islamic University of Madeenah. He has also studied at the University of Toronto where he achieved a Ph.D. (Philosophy) in West African History and an MA (Philosophy) in African History.
He has been a consultant on African and Islamic exhibits for the Ontario Science Centre?s project, "A Question of Truth"
He has appeared as a guest lecturer at York University (University of Toronto), and McGill University for the Departments of History, Women?s Studies, Geography, and Middle-East Islamic Studies.
He was a regular columnist in the Life Section of Canada?s Largest newspaper, the Toronto Star.
He has developed and facilitated workshops and training sessions for diverse organizations such as Children Aids Society, Family Service Association, The Canadian Churches Forum for Global Ministries, etc.
